What Natural Remedies Can I Take To Help Me Go To Sleep?

I work over night as security over night. I usually get home about 9am. By this time I am really tired. My problem is I cannot sleep long 3-4 hours max. I need help but don’t want to rely on medicine to make me go to sleep but a healthier natural sleep aide.

You should be given a golden girl to sleep with you.

    shift work is a problem humans are not designed to sleep during the day ..
    shift work reduces your life span proven fact since it puts alot of stress on your body

    my advice try do day shift if possible
    or drink milk before sleep sound proof and darken your room so its pitch black and put in air conditioning or do your best to make your room as comfortable as possible
    Make sure you darken the room i did this when i worked shift and it helped my sleep by 50%

    hope it helps, did a little research on my own, personally, hot milk usually does the trick, or reading.

    I work midnights as well and have the same ‘problem’. What works for me may or may not work for you but I get up around 1:00 p.m and do ‘my running’ and/or things around the house for about 4 hours then I ‘nap’ from around 5 til 8:00 p.m., get up and shower, eat and leave for work. I work 10:00 p.m. til 8:00 a.m, and I get [2] 30 minute breaks. I eat on one break and sleep on the other….I set the alarm on my cell phone for 20 min and hit snooze one time….I always feel refreshed after that short snooze and it gets me through my shift!
    Hope it’ll work for you too if you try it.
