Cause Of Insomnia, lack Of Sleep What Is The Best Remedy?
I want to overcome this problem of mine…. I want to hae a good sleeping routine
There can be many reasons for insomnia. It really depends of the individual. Insomnia can be related to a medical problem, stress, having a poor sleeping routine, racing thoughts, etc.
Below is a long list I once wrote about ways to fall asleep. The list is so long that reading it might put you to sleep
Try out a few of the suggestions below, and find out what works best for you.
What helped me a lot to fall asleep, especially when my mind was racing, was to lie in bed and listen to relaxation CDs, especially those that contain someone speaking with relaxing music in the background. The combination of voice and music is very soothing. Many of these CDs are available on eBay for very low prices.
A warm bath is a great way to help you to sleep (depending on the season). If you can’t take a bath, you can give yourself a foot massage with slightly warm massage oil from a health food store.
A helpful technique is to relax your body one part at a time. So you could relax your feet, your lower legs, upper legs, moving up from your lower belly up to your chest, etc., until your whole body is relaxed.
Of course, guided relaxation methods can help. As vividly as possible, imagine yourself at the beach, in the mountains or country, or whatever is most soothing to you.
If you have annoying thoughts that run through your mind when you are trying to sleep, you might have to talk to a counselor or therapist about that. I suggest avoiding prescription sleeping pills unless nothing else helps.
There are herbs that might help you to sleep, eg, valerian root, chamomile, hops, passion flower, skullcap. However, what most people don’t realize is that it can take at least a few weeks for some herbs to build up in your system before they start to work.
The minerals calcium and magnesium might be helpful for sleep. You can also try 5-HTP, melatonin, or L-theanine. Suntheanine is the most recommended brand of L-theanine. I would not take melatonin for over a month unless your doctor says it is ok.

if it really IS insomnia then i really do advise seeing a doctor to get you some sleeping tablets like Mirtazapine..
if its just lack of sleep or sleeping routine then i suggest getting in to a routine before going to bed and drinking herbal remedies or taking herbal pills… (however this can help with insomnia too)
I hope some of this has helped you, hope you get some sleep soon

You haven’t really given me enough information about your insomnia problem. Have you had it for more than a couple of months or is it just a recent thing?
There are many different remedies for insomnia it just depends on what works for you. The one thing that seems to always work is a warm bath before sleeping or even a warm glass of milk. Muscle Relaxation Techniques work as well. Don’t do anything that will stimulate your mind 90 minutes prior to going to bed.
Google ‘insomnia remedies’ and try some of the techniques that you like. If this is something that has been occurring for a while then its best to see your doctor.
I’ve been suffering from insomnia for about 1 1/2 years but i only recently saw my doctor about it, he gave me some sleeping pills to combat the problem.

I know it’s illegal but you could at least try pot. It’s a serious suggestion, as it has helped me with insomnia. It may just be linked to your stress levels like in my case.
It’s a progressive idea, but valid nonetheless. Just my two cents*

Sleep is caused by a substance called Tryptopan, which unfortunately is not produced in the body.
)
So the best source is food but then again if the food is rich in protein this tryptopan has to
compete with other amino acids and ultimately loses out to them so the best option is to eat
foods rich in carbohydrates containing tryptopan. Therefore the best routine you can adhere to is,
in the evening say around 6p.m. take two slices of whole wheat bread. To this you apply very thin
spread of peanut butter. Fill these slices of whole wheat bread with thoroughly washed but unpeeled
cucumber slices as also tomatoes slices. Now consume this sand witch as per your requirement
which should act as your evening meal/supper. You can if you want wash down this sand witch
with a glass of luke warm milk from grass fed cows only, otherwise you can miss this step and by
10 p.m. you should be in snooze land. Try it which is anytime better than ingesting your body with
dangerous, habit forming chemical laden pills. Good luck and God bless. Cheers!
By the way though peanut butter is high protein but the quantity is minimal so no need to worry
on that count.
